Sights for Colt models

Colt's centerfire pistols are all built on the 1911 pattern, so sight fitment for a Colt is not decided by the model name on the slide - it is decided by which industry-standard sight cut the slide was machined to. The Colt Combat, Competition, Delta, Series 80 and XSE lines all use the Novak cut, one of the most widely adopted 1911 dovetail standards, shared with many other 1911-pattern makers.

Why "Colt Delta" and "Colt XSE" lead to the same sights

Because Novak-cut sights are a dovetail standard rather than a Colt-specific part, the same sight set fits any Colt slide machined to that cut - which is most of the modern Colt centerfire range.
