In what situation do you need to buy an adapter plate for Glock MOS gen.6?

  1. Unusual footprint - in case you want to install any red dot that does not use one of the 3 common footprints, you need an aftermarket adapter.
  2. Better quality of materials - and this reason is the main one. The factory adapter plates are made of polymer. It is one of the most common criticism of the new Glock gen.6.
