Optics ready plates for KMR models

This collection contains optic plates for KMR pistols with a factory optic cut. KMR is a Czech maker of competition pistols. Plates are available for the L-02, W-02 and S-02 Optics Ready models. Almost all plates are made by KMR itself from steel in the Czech Republic.

Two plate families

• W-02 and L-02: one plate family fits both lines. This includes the L-02 Orca OR, Emig OR, Spectra and Umbra, and the W-02 Cuda OR, Spectra S and Umbra X. See Optic ready plates for KMR L-02 Orca OR and Optic ready plates for KMR W-02 Cuda OR.

An S-02 plate does not fit the W-02 or L-02, and the other way round.

Footprints

Both families have plates for eight footprints: Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro, Vortex Razor and Meopta Meored. For the W-02 and L-02, Eemann Tech also makes a type D plate for Shield RMSc and Docter.

Which red dot for which footprint

Which red dots go on which footprint, with examples from our range:

• Trijicon RMR: for example the Holosun 407C, 507C and 508T, Olight Osight and Vector Optics Frenzy-X. See Red dots with Trijicon RMR footprint.

The Vortex Razor and Meopta Meored plates are for these red dots only.

Enclosed red dots on a KMR

An enclosed red dot keeps rain, mud and dust away from the LED. With an Aimpoint Acro plate, you can mount an enclosed red dot with the Acro footprint on any of the three lines.

Steel plates

Steel plates are heavier than aluminium plates. On a competition pistol, the extra weight sits on the slide.

Installation

Remove the factory cover plate from the optic cut. Screw the optic plate into its place, then screw the red dot onto the plate. No milling is needed and you can do it yourself. Threadlocker on the screws is recommended.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install an optic plate on my KMR at home?

Yes. You need no gunsmith and no milling.

1. Remove the cover plate from the optic cut.
2. Screw the optic plate into the cut.
3. Screw the red dot onto the plate.

Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw.

Which red dots will fit my KMR?

It depends on the plate you choose. Every plate takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For KMR pistols we have plates for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro, Vortex Razor, Meopta Meored and Sig Romeo1 footprints.

Choose your red dot first and find its footprint in the specifications. Then take the plate with the same footprint.

Which plate fits my L-02 Spectra?

A plate from the W-02 and L-02 family, with the footprint of your red dot. The S-02 has its own plates.

Do you have a plate for the Meopta Meored?

Yes, for the W-02 and L-02 and for the S-02.
