Direct-fit models

Some models are made for one optic cut and need no plate: Holosun SCS MOS (Glock MOS), Holosun SCS MP2 (Smith & Wesson M&P M2), Holosun SCS PDP (Walther PDP 2), Holosun SCS VP9 / SFP9 (HK VP9 OR / SFP9 OR) and Vector Optics Frenzy 1x16x21 for Glock MOS (Glock MOS).

Features

• Shake Awake: Shake Awake switches the red dot on when the gun moves and saves the battery when it rests. Models: Holosun 407C X2, Holosun 407C X3, Holosun 407Comp, Holosun 407K X2 and Holosun 507 Comp and more.
• Solar power: Solar power keeps the dot lit from light and saves the battery. Models: Holosun 407C X2, Holosun 407C X3, Holosun 507 Promax PRS, Holosun 507C X2 and Holosun 507C X3 and more.

• Titanium housing: A titanium housing is stronger than aluminium. Models: Holosun 508T X2, Holosun 509T X2 and Holosun SCS MOS.

Mounting

On a pistol with a factory optic cut, the red dot goes on an optic plate with the same footprint. On a pistol without optic cut, it goes on a red dot mount in place of the rear sight. See Optics ready plates and Red dot mounts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a Holosun red dot on my pistol?

Yes, if there is a plate or mount for your pistol with the same footprint as the red dot. Each red dot names its footprint in the table above and in its description.

Can I install the red dot myself?

Yes. Screw it onto the plate or mount with the screws that come with it. Put a drop of threadlocker on each screw and tighten it to the torque given by the maker.

Can I change the battery without removing the red dot?

Yes, on models with a side battery tray, for example the Holosun 407C X3, Holosun 407Comp and Holosun 507 Promax PRS.

Open or enclosed red dot?

An enclosed red dot keeps rain and dirt away from the LED. An open red dot is lighter and smaller. Enclosed models here: Holosun 509T X2, Holosun AEMS Macro, Holosun AEMS Micro and Holosun EPS Core 3.
