The Vortex Defender-XL micro red dot (green) is a rugged, competition-ready optic built around an ultra-wide sight window for faster target transitions. It is an exceptional choice for duty or range pistols, as well as carbines and shotguns when paired with the included Picatinny mount.

The highly visible green 3 MOA dot is powered by a top-mounted CR2032 battery, delivering up to 25 000 hours of runtime. Built-in motion activation powers the sight immediately upon movement, while a 10 minute automatic shutoff preserves battery life.

Engineered for maximum durability, the 7075 aluminum chassis incorporates a ShockShield polymer insert to dampen impacts. The front face features aggressive Fast-Rack texturing for emergency slide racking off flat surfaces. The optic is fully sealed to resist moisture, dust, and debris in demanding environments.
