Flashlights
(34 products)This collection contains flashlights from Olight: weapon lights for pistols and rifles, handheld flashlights, headlamps and small everyday carry (EDC) lights. You also find smart battery chargers for AA and AAA batteries. The lights differ mainly in output, beam distance, battery, size and mounting. This page explains each of these points, so you can compare the models.
Weapon lights for pistols
Pistol lights mount on the accessory rail under the barrel. The Olight pistol lights here are the PL-Mini 2, PL-Mini 3, PL-3S, PL-3R, PL X and Baldr S.
- Mount: most models fit a Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail. They have an adjustable key-block, positioning block or sliding mount. You can move the light forward or back on the rail, so the switch sits where your finger reaches it.
- Output: from 600 lumens (PL-Mini 2 and PL-Mini 3) to 1,500 lumens (PL-3R). The PL X combines a wide floodlight with a focused spotlight.
- Battery: the PL-3S runs on CR123A batteries. The PL-3R has a built-in lithium-polymer battery that you charge with a magnetic cable. The PL-Mini 3 has a removable battery and comes with a spare.
- Laser: the Baldr S combines 800 lumens of white light with a green beam.
Weapon lights for rifles
The Olight Odin and Odin S are made for long guns. The Odin reaches 2,000 lumens and the Odin S 1,500 lumens. Both mount on a Picatinny or M-LOK rail. The Odin S takes either the included 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries. This lets you use common batteries if the rechargeable one is empty.
Size and runtime of pistol lights
A compact pistol needs a compact light. The PL-Mini 2 and PL-Mini 3 are the smallest pistol lights here, with 600 lumens. The PL-Mini 3 runs up to 2.5 hours with its included spare battery. Larger lights such as the PL-3R and PL X give more output, but they are longer. Check that the light does not extend past the muzzle of your pistol if this matters for your holster.
Lumens and beam distance
Lumens describe the total light output. Beam distance, also called throw, describes how far the light reaches. A light with high lumens and a wide beam lights up a large area close to you. A light with a focused beam reaches further but lights a smaller area. Examples from this collection:
- The Marauder 2 gives 14,000 lumens as a wide flood beam. Its focused beam reaches up to 800 m.
- The Javelot Pro 2 gives 2,500 lumens and reaches 1,050 m. The Javelot Turbo 2 reaches 1,500 m. These long-distance lights suit hunting and searching large areas.
- The PL X spotlight reaches up to 300 m from a pistol-sized light.
Switches and modes on weapon lights
A weapon light needs a switch you can reach without changing your grip. Several Olight pistol lights have rear switches on both sides. The PL-3R has a mode switch with two high settings: 1,500 or 1,000 lumens. The PL X switches between a flood beam and a 22,500 candela spot beam. The Odin S uses a magnetic pressure switch. The Javelot Pro 2 can be mounted on a rifle and used with an optional remote switch.
Handheld and tactical flashlights
The Warrior 3S and Warrior X 4 are tactical handheld lights with 2,300 and 2,600 lumens. They are made for everyday carry, self-defense and law enforcement use. The Warrior 3S has a proximity sensor that lowers the output when the light is close to an object. The Seeker 4 Pro and the Prowess are high-output lights for outdoor use.
Power bank function
Some large lights also charge other devices. The Marauder 2 has two-way 30 W charging and works as a power bank. The Perun 3 Mini Premium comes with a charging case that recharges the light several times.
Headlamps
The Perun 3 and Perun 3 Mini work as a headlamp or as a handheld light. A quick-release bracket lets you switch between the two. They have white and red light. Red light helps you keep your night vision.
EDC lights
EDC lights are small lights for daily carry in a pocket or on keys:
- The Arkfeld and ArkPro series are flat lights. They combine white light with a green laser, and some models add UV light.
- The Oclip models clip onto clothing or a bag.
- The i1R 2 Pro and imini 2 are keychain lights. The i3T EOS runs on a single AAA battery.
- The O'Pen 3 is a pen light with a green laser.
Battery and charging
Most Olight lights here are rechargeable. Larger lights use 21700 or 18650 lithium-ion cells. Smaller lights have a built-in lithium-polymer battery. Many models charge with a magnetic cable, so the charging port stays sealed. The Ostation 2 and Ostation 2 Pro charge, test and store AA and AAA batteries. They charge Ni-MH batteries of any brand and Olight Ecolast lithium-ion batteries.
UV and laser
Some EDC lights add a UV light or a green laser. The Arkfeld Pro combines 1,300 lumens of white light, a 900 mW UV light and a green laser. UV light makes stains and fluorescent agents visible. The green laser works as a pointer.
Waterproof rating
The IP rating tells you how well a light resists water. IPX4 protects against splashing water. IPX6 protects against strong water jets. IPX7 allows short immersion. IPX8 allows longer immersion. Most outdoor and tactical lights here are rated IPX7 or IPX8.
Frequently asked questions
Will this pistol light fit my pistol?
It fits if your pistol has a Picatinny accessory rail under the barrel. Most Olight pistol lights here have an adjustable key-block or positioning block for different rails.
Lumens or beam distance: what matters more?
For a weapon light at home or indoors, choose a wide beam and enough lumens. For hunting or searching at distance, choose a light with a long beam distance, such as the Javelot models.
Rechargeable or CR123A?
A rechargeable light saves battery costs. A CR123A light runs on batteries that you can buy and store easily. The Odin S takes both.
Is the light waterproof?
It depends on the IP rating in the specifications of the light. IPX7 and IPX8 lights survive immersion in water. IPX4 to IPX6 lights resist rain and splashes, but not immersion.
